Literary Agent
Kirk Heinsberg
Open to submissionsVoice-driven fiction and nonfiction in which private choices carry public consequences.
Bio
Kirk Heinsberg represents literary suspense, narrative nonfiction, memoir, crime, and psychologically acute fiction. He is drawn to assured prose, morally complicated characters, and books whose central question deepens rather than resolves too quickly.
Before joining Weissman Goldberg, Kirk spent twelve years in editorial development and rights strategy at the fictional Northmere Books and later advised independent authors on manuscript architecture, positioning, and audio potential. He works closely with writers through revision and is especially attentive to pace, narrative authority, and the emotional logic of a project.
